About This Page:
From here you can select and page through games of 3D Chess. This page and the images herein (excepting the one below, by Alex) were created by Simeon to generate HTML to post in email and blogs for play-by-mail games; hence it uses old-fashioned attributes rather than a stylesheet, as email and blogs tend to strip, mangle or mutilate CSS, and even inline style tags.
Assuming your browser supports titles on generic tags, if you move your mouse over the squares you'll get the coordinates and a description of the piece (if any).
The five levels A-E that make up the set are stacked with E at the bottom and A at the top, making a 5x5x5 cube. The game is often played on a physical set with levels made of perspex or glass, with unicorns made by attaching a "horn" (e.g. a small screw) to the head of a regular knight.
